This winter, we’ve been working hard to keep the children and families of East Harlem warm.

Between November 2020 and February 2021, LSA and our wonderfully generous donors have provided over 1,000 coats to the East Harlem community. Families in LSA’s Mental Health Services, Nursing, K-4 Enrichment, and Environmental programs have all benefited from the donations.

Additionally, LSA distributed more than 400 hats that were hand-knit by a long-time LSA supporter.

We give special thanks to Carmen Serrano, NY Cares, St. Augustine Church, Old Navy, the Brookdale Foundation, the Bowery Mission, Robin Hood, and the National Bank of Canada for their kindness and continuous support of LSA families.
