LSA staff and families rallied for DAPA and expanded DACA in Washington DC

A group of LSA staff and families went to Washington DC today to rally in front of the Supreme Court building for DAPA and expanded DACA. Unfreezing these two executive orders would significantly impact the families served by LSA, many of which are made up of parents of U.S. citizen children.

We enthusiastically support President Obama’s executive orders creating DACA and DAPA, as they protect families from deportation and make it possible for immigrants to work legally and avoid exploitation.   We also endorse a larger, comprehensive Federal immigration reform that will allow immigrant families to integrate fully into US society.
