LSA Family Health Service is collaborating with a community partner, Kennedy Children’s Center, to support children with developmental delay and their families. Colors Pre-K serves local East Harlem three and four year olds, with a focus on purposeful play and learning experiences that invite participation, encourage social and emotional relationships, and engage the senses.
Colors Pre-K draws from the best of both organizations. Kennedy Children’s Center and LSA Family Health Services both began in 1958, are part of the Catholic Charities network and proudly serve East Harlem families. Kennedy brings their expertise and commitment to children with developmental delays. LSA opens its doors, dedicating our full second floor to classrooms, and opening our hearts to help families thrive. Families can participate in LSA programming in mental health, food security, emergency assistance and more.
By working together, Kennedy Children’s Center and LSA Family Health Service address New York City’s severe shortage of Pre-K spaces for children with developmental delays.
